Prepare to be bombarded.......

with lots of pictures from our much needed vacation. Friday night we left for Kelowna Canada to Daves familiys lake cabin-for those of you who don't know that's Ogopogo territory. We arrived late Friday night, and traveling as we once knew no longer exists. Our little VW Golf was packed full and we had to make a lots of stops on the way, to feed Preston, change Preston etc. But, we made it and it was a fabulously fun weekend of sleeping under the stars (Preston too!)while listening to the lake, wake boarding, swimming, and listening to the kids talk about their dreams around the campfire. (Scott and Amy, did you know that Zach wishes he had straight black hair???) The best part is visiting with family and RELAXING.
Preston loved it, he did much better than I thought he would. He had a blast swimming in the lake and playing with the rocks on the beach. (I had to watch him closely because he kept trying to eat the rocks!)and of course he loved playing with his cousins-Alyssa and Kim had him laughing a lot of the time.
The cousins had a fun time scaring themselves with tales of the Ogopogo and other made up stories. Hunter was concerned that Dave was the only man there.
Today will be spent "digging out" as Angie calls it:) and trying to revive my flowers.
We had a great time but are happy to be home in our beds.

  1. It was sooo fun. I loved getting to see Preston and be around him. He is such a good baby. The cousins had a blast too especially with the camera. Lots of good memories!
