the best nesst

I know my blogging has been a little less than exciting lately, but really people my life is just not all that interesting! Which I guess isn't always a bad thing.

But this is what we have been up to lately:

We are all sick with colds. Go figure. That time of year.

Preston is getting to be quite the big boy. He is eating everything that we eat. No more baby food for him. And he is quite the eater too! He can put away a whole packet of oatmeal and a pear for breakfast. I am glad that we don't have a picky eater on our hands:)

He is constantly getting into everything that he is not supposed to be in, but that's OK, he is learning. He likes to get into cupboards, push buttons on the TV, play with the phone and remote and his latest thing is playing with the computer. The top of his head goes to the the table with the keyboard and he raises his arms over his head finds the keyboard and pushes the buttons and plays with the mouse. It's pretty funny.

Preston is learning the meaning of a new word. Can you guess what it is? It is the word "No." It's not a fun concept. We will keep working on it though.

Dave is busy working, he is still working at a job at Whitworth. He is looking forward to going to some hockey games. We haven't made it to one yet. I am wondering how Preston will do? He didn't do so good the first and last time we took him last year! I ended up watching the game on the tv in the lobby area while holding Preston in the ergo carrier.

I have been, what have I been doing?? You know the usual wifey, homemaker type things. Dinner, laundry, cleaning, more laundry etc. Wednesdays will be my busy day. I have MOPS, bible study, and 4th wednesday activity for MOPS all on rotating Wednesdays. The bible study I am doing is called Raising Responsive Children. I just know that it is going to be good. The reading and studying will keep me busy. It is actually a bible study. Where you have to study the bible and think;)

I haven't made any cards in a while, I am hoping to do some of that today. Sometimes it is hard to find the space and time! I bought some new paper and I really want to use it!
