reinventing the wheel

my little preston loves wheels. of all his toys he loves anything with wheels the best. if i lay his stroller down flat he will sit and spin the wheels for hours, ok i'm exaggerating, not hours but for a long time!

it is so neat to see his emerging personality and wonder how it will play into his life as he grows up. he has always been observant, even as a newborn. people always commented how he seemed to take in his surroundings. it will also be interesting as we have more kids to see how they are alike and different. Just look at Angies boys! They are all so different, yet so similar. (side note, I was just telling someone the other day that i can't wait to see what sammy grows up to be like-he cracks me up!)

among the wheel prestons other favorite things right now include-the itsy bitsy spider, pushing buttons on anything and everything, he called 9-1-1 the other night, and eating real food. He is losing interest in his bottle for now and wants to eat what we eat. he also loves to play with his toy cars in his room. he crawls in there and will play for quite a while by himself, i love it that he can entertain himself! oh, and he all time favorite is putting everything in his mouth and i mean everything! much to our cats dismay, the cat climber/perch is going to have to go in the basement because p loves to pull the carpet off of it and eat it. i am constantly finding pieces of carpet in his mouth! ewwwww!
