this has been a challenging week. first prestons asthma issues, then his cold turned into a flu, plus he is cutting 2 eye teeth! I think we are finally back to normal though and thank goodness for tylenol!
on Wednesday preston and I went to the facotry outlets with my mom. (remember those!) Pfaltzgraff is closing and they are having huge sales! If you know of anyone getting married, or want to do some Christmas shopping or just need some kitchen gadgets-it is worth the drive to post falls! we missed the MOPS pumpkin patch-but did stop at a little produce stand in otis orchards and bought a pumpkin and a few squash.
yesterday i made my own laundry soap. this is something that i've wanted to try for a while. My neighbor did this a few weekends ago and gave me the supplies to make my own. I can't believe how easy and cheap (well, it was free for me:) this is. All you need is a bar of soap-ivory, 1 cup of borax, and a half a cup of washing soda. this makes a 5 gallon bucket, around 80 loads! so far i like it! if you make it let me know how it goes! you can find lots of recipes online.
yesterday dave and i (ok, mostly just dave) were busy cleaning out the garage and cleaning up the yard. i am so glad-this was long overdue. our camper is also getting a new home over at grandmas house today-i will be glad to be able to look out my window and not see it + we can use our garage now.
like i mentioned in my post last night, i tried to give my blog a new look, well that didn't go to well-but i think i got most of my blog list back up-if you haven't seen my bestnesst blog click here to check it out-i gave it a makeover and am pretty happy with how of the results!
and the biggest news of all! preston says "mama" now-yea!
