For some reason rainy days give me an excuse to stay in comfy clothes all day, to be lazy and just putter around the house. I love it! Today is definitely one of those days. Yesterday I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and today I am free to enjoy the day-without thinking I should be doing laundry or washing dishes.
Preston has picked up a new habit. Headbutting. Please tell me, somebody, somewhere out there that your kid has done this too! He's a happy headbutter though, it's almost as if it is his form of greeting you. When I lean in for a kiss, I get a headbutt instead. My brother in law thinks he learned it from the cats:) The other day I walked in the living room and he was headbutting his toy rocking horse, and he has also tried to headbutt the cat, that didn't work too well.
We got Preston tested for allergies the other day-and the results came back negative, he doesn't have any allergies!
I can't believe that I am already thinking about Prestons 1st birthday! (On 12/31) I think we are going to try to do a celebration on new years eve. It will be a New Years Eve/birthday/birthday party. I threw in 2 birthdays because mine is on Jan 1! Mine and P's birthday are only 8 hours apart. I am trying to think of a fun theme, cute invitations etc. Please if anyone has any ideas let me know. Beth, maybe I can pick your brain to come up with some cute invites!
Well, I am off to organize my craft stuff. It is all over the kitchen table!

ReplyDeleteTobin was a head butter for awhile, it is a boy thing. We had to teach him gentle, so now he goes in hard, then stops and does it gentle. Ah well, it is a start!
