Once again, I have started about 10 posts, but have not gotten around to posting any.

I have had a pretty uneventful week-nothing too exciting. My highlight this week was coffee and thrifting. Seriously, this has become an addiction of mine and if you live in Spokane you HAVE to check out the VOA (volunteers of America thrift store) I cannot believe the deals I get every time I go there. Don't let its location fool you either. I have gotten some screamin deals on name brand clothing and goods. So what was my big purchase this time you ask? It was a 5 foot little tikes slide that retails for $79.99-I got it for a whopping $19.99!

Some highlights from the last two weeks are: going to the Christmas brunch at church with 381 other women, MOPS, my sister in law Cathy had her baby, my other sister in law Perri came into town for a week and last but not least my brother in law Robert is in the hospital with viral meningitis and encephalitis!

We haven't had too many obligations this holiday season, it has been nice and relaxing! I helped Angie do some holiday baking yesterday and I am making a couple of cookie recipes today.

Today, Dave and I need to go shopping for some child proof items. My current method has failed. It is pretty sad when an 11 month old can completely pull off the locks that are on our cabinets. This morning I walked in to the kitchen to find the child lock on the floor, and Preston holding a bottle of Windex.

Well my cookies look like they need to be sampled so I better scram!
