Did you notice I finally set up my etsy shop?!? It only took me about 6 months to do it too. Yikes! Finally getting some things on my to do list checked off:)
Today was a good day. Know why? Of course you don't. Let me tell you. I found a scrapbook/stamp store literally 1 minute away from my house. I saw it awhile ago, but kind of forgot about it. Today I decided to go check it out {I've already been to Jo-Ann's twice this week and Michael's once, so I thought I should venture beyond the chain stores, even if I do love them} They have the cutest paper, {be on the look out for some bird journals and cards} the staff is friendly and ready for the best part....drum roll please...da da da..they sell binding machines. And the binding they have is a really stylish metal binding that comes in colors. Oh the things I could do...now if I had a lamination machine I would never leave my house. Never, ever, ever. And everything I own would be laminated. Seriously.
Well I should probably go...I've had too much cold medicine and coffee combination for the day. I feel hyped up and tired at the same time and I might quit making sense soon.

ReplyDeleteMy sister in law has an esty shop for her jewelry...i'll see if i can find the link -- it's fun to see all the stuff people make. I will be ordering a birdie journal (or 2 or 3) with tabs soon.

ReplyDeleteAbout the binding, that is so cool! I have done some bindings at Staples but they are just black. Does this store do bindings for you or do you have to buy the machine? I'd love to know the name of the store so I can stop by next time I'm in town.
I'd love to be locked in the house with a laminater and a binding machine too, what bliss!
