Well it's Friday, that means we've made it through another week:) Can you believe that there are only 4 more days left in June? Summer just goes by too quickly! I was telling Dave this morning that we really need to get some trips on the calendar or before you know Summer will be over and we will have ended up doing nothing{again}. I guess our first trip of the Summer will be to Kennewick to visit the Meyers and to see their new house. Then I am hoping to go to the ocean-that was a favorite weekend getaway when Dave and I lived in Seattle. You know, pre-kids, when you could just decide on a whim that you want to get away and hop in the car with little or no planning and take off for a day or two. Good ole' days! I would also like to make a trip to Seattle. We haven't been back since we moved in August of 2007! I think Preston would really like the zoo and aquarium. I also want to visit a couple of my favorite parks. Carkeek park and Golden Gardens. I loved going for long walks on the beach, looking at all the tide pools and so on. I think Preston would get a kick out of it also! And then there is always Canada, which is in August. This year is the "Perri Family Reunion" that's Daves moms side of the family. It is a 3
day event with lots and lots of family!
There are also a lot of local things that I want to do too! Hiking at Tubbs Hill and Bowl and Pitcher. Farmers markets, Greenbluff, First Friday on Garland {I've never done this but have always wanted too} going on boat rides in Grandpas boat {hint, hint Dad!!} the list goes on......:)
Whats on your calendar-anybody have anything exciting planned-or any other ideas for me?
Oh, Ya, tubs hill...I forgot about that! Maybe we should the next time we come to town. The kids would probably like that!

I would like to go to the Portland zoo and Ikea this summer. And of course we'll be coming to Spokane in August!
Im right there with you!!! andy and i havent been on a vacation since the Morris family trip when i was 8 months pregger! And i dont call hospital visits in seattle a vacation lol.
