I got a card in the mail today {I just LOVE getting mail!} Isn't this a great card? I don't know how many times when something has happened throughout the course of my day...sometimes good, sometimes bad, hopefully funny and I thought "oh, I can't wait to blog about this!"
I just love blogging and reading a good inspirational blog. I love being able to read what friends and family are up to, see pictures etc.
It's easy to get caught up in the "virtual world" though, I definitely have to be intentional about the time I spend on the computer. I have even had to move it downstairs so I am not tempted by it! Then here are times that I compare myself to others and wish that I could be a better writer or be a better mom or wife etc. etc. Just like everything else in life there has to be a balance. Right?
What I like most about blogging is that it has given me such a great outlet to express my thoughts as well as being a creative outlet!
So what about you, why do you blog?

I guess I blog to keep up with family and friends. I also love to read decorating/creative blogs and get ideas for my home. I love Kj's idea of the 1000 gifts. Why not keep it positive and focus on the gifts the Lord gives. I might have to copy that idea.
ReplyDeleteI was originally told I needed to do a blog to stay in touch with a friend who was moving away. Little did I know it would be an addiction ~ hee hee! I haven't been blogging as much lately because I'm really wanting to find a purpose for my blog other than posting pics of my kids. :)
