When we tuck Preston in bed at night we say prayers first and then we give him a chance to say what he is thankful for or we ask who he wants to pray for.
Tonight he was thankful for chocolate and Uncle Les.
It makes me smile when he shares what is in his little heart. Those are 2 very good things to be thankful for;)
It's funny the things that make an impression on kids, things we overlook they tend to remember. Certain people make big impressions on little people-and that is what my Uncle Les has done. Preston talks about him all the time and whenever we pray most often he wants to pray for Uncle Les. Plus he bought him a really cool GI Joe car and a tool set for his birthday...maybe that has something to do with it, who knows!
