Spokane River

Earlier this week we just needed to get out.  We drove with  going to park in mind, but decided to stop at the river instead. I'm so glad we did! The kids loved it. Preston kept saying over and over again, "I'm in the river, I'm in the river! I can't believe I'm in a river!" Sometimes I need to remind myself to look at the world through the eyes of a child. There is wonder in seeing something for the first time! I don't know how many times we've driven past this part of the river and never stopped. To me, it's nothing spectacular, but to their little eyes it was an adventure, a place to explore. I love how they see the world-If only we could all see the world through the eyes of a child!
