  1. let's see...what to use as an answer to this very loaded question. :)

the Lord put my husband on my heart when i was 14 years old. even though i didn't know him yet, he was the reason i made a lot of the decisions i did when i was younger. he is my earthly inspiration and so, i wanted to ask him the same question. even though i kinda already knew the answer *wink...and no, i knew it wasn't me. :)

    his answer:
"Christ is my inspiration. my favorite verse is John 3:30, 'He must become greater; i must become less.' because i want to strive for something greater than myself."

    simply, but profoundly put. :)

  3. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30

My prayer for my children is that they would do this. I would love to have it on a card... oh wait I already do... maybe what we talked about earlier, Heart, Soul, Mind, Strength.

  5. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 I love this verse and have claimed it as my "life" verse. I've had some struggles as I know everyone has and this verse just reminds me to continue to pray and give thanks no matter what you walk through.

  8. Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint

  9. Phil. 2:3
Do nothing from selfish ambition or vain conceit but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.

What a minute-by-minute struggle this is for me!! I am sure none of you would have guessed that I am a fleshly sinner and need help putting others first! If I could have it somewhere to look at all the time, like Angie's coffee spot, that would be great!

  10. Posting for Vickie G.

This is my current favorite saying “If your Bible is falling apart chances are your life is staying together” It is my favorite because my Bible is falling apart! I have had the same Bible since I became a Christian 29 years ago. Before surrendering my life to Jesus, my life and my marriage were falling apart. We just celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary! It is because God through his Word and my relationship with Jesus put my life back together. I have spent 29 years committed to studying God’s Word and my life & marriage has stayed together through good and hard times because of what I have learned.

  11. I share Vickie G.'s story about marriage and my life verse became what it is because of where God has brought me and my husband, from the pit of despare to a healed marriage. My life verse is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you" declares the Lord "plane to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
