Lately I have been missing Seattle...not that I want to live there again, there are several good reasons why we don't! But I miss the food and all of our favorite hangouts! Thai food is just not the same here. I also miss the shopping. Sometimes when I have to run an errand I am picturing the Seattle location in my mind and than it's like oh wait, that's not where I am going! Oh well. I guess all said and done-there is more here that I love vs. the things I miss:) I am excited to go back and visit sometime next Spring.

I already have a list of the places I want to go-the first 7 include restaurants-which the first three are all Thai food:)
-Thaiku
-Thai Siam
-Kwanji Thai
-Teriyaki Plus
-Peoples Pub-they have deep fried pickles and beet salad! Yumm.
-Crab Pot
-13 Coins-they have the best clams in a pesto sauce, my mouth is watering!
-Shopping at the little shops in Ballard-I really miss Ballard!
-Shopping at U-Village, Sole Food, Barnes and Noble and the GAP (Angie remember when we - used to meet there with Jack and Isaiah and eat at Noah's Bagel-yummmm.)

I am sure I will think of more to add to my list, this is just a start:)

  1. We were just talking about Bellevue and how it has changed this morning. I miss the little antique shops in Monroe, Snohomish, Country Village, Bell Square and of course any Thai resturant ove there. However, I sure like it alot over here, here in the country!

  2. I do the same thing when I am thinking of where to find something, except I think about where it is in Spokane! :)
I was just in Bellevue this weekend with some of my sistes who came into town to join me at the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking convention. We had a blast! And yes, Bellevue is really growing.
By the way, I have already gotten quite a few compliments on my new plaque. Thanks again, we love it!
