Well Christmas has come and gone-you may think I am a little scroogish, but I am glad that it is over! I had our tree along with all of the Christmas decorations taken down and put away by 8:30pm last night!!! I am so glad to have our living room back to normal.

Christmas Eve and Christmas day were fun though, it was really nice to be with family. We spent Christmas Eve at Daves moms house. GG, Chelsey and Shauna and her family were there also. Daves mom always cooks clam chowder and we have LOTS of snacks and goodies! Christmas morning we go to my parents. Amy and Angie and their families were there. I think the best part was when the twins opened their Dora DVD's-just imagine 2 two year old girls in pretty dresses jumping up and down and squealing in their high pitched voices-it was adorable! Preston got lots of toys and goodies {Dave and I made out pretty good too!!!}

Today I ventured out in the snow-all by myself. I have been pretty scared to drive in it so I haven't driven since the first snow fell! I am glad that I did, because it wasn't as bad as I thought at all. Phew, I am no longer housebound! Dave will be glad too, now he won't have to do the grocery shopping etc.

So, I joined facebook recently. Not that I need another obsession right now, but I guess Daves family is all on facebook-so I thought it would be a good way to keep up with his side of the family. The funny/embarrassing part is is that I found out later (thanks Ang) that I sent out 51 invites to people-I don't even know 51 people nor do I have 51 contacts in my email-so I have no idea who I sent them out too. Oops!

Well I better get some rest, we have a big day of sledding at the Weavers tomorrow!

  1. I'm like you, I can't wait to get the "stuff" put away and get my house back to normal. I guess you could say I like change...I'm always excited to get the Christmas decorations out, and then just as excited to get them put away again. I promised the kids I leave everything out until New Year's, but I probably would've been packing up yesterday, too! Glad you had a good Christmas! See you soon....

  2. I saw that you invited 51 people and thought that you were just a very popular girl.
