happy fathers day dave!

Happy Fathers Day to my husband
The righteous man walks in his integrity, his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7
Preston is so blessed to have such a shining example of what that quality{integrity} is. It is a man of his word, a man who does the right thing. always. This is just one of the many words I could use to describe you.
It doesn't mean that you don't make mistakes, because we all do, it just means that when you do, you acknowledge them and most importantly of all-say you are sorry. You have a humble heart and I am amazed that when we argue you are always the first one to apologize, even if it's not your fault. I on the other hand am a tad more stubborn and prideful and can't say I am sorry as easy as you.
You are such a wonderful dad to our sweet little boy. You jumped into the role of father, and protector as soon as Preston was born and you haven't stopped yet!
I love how you are always thinking about Preston, how you always think about your actions and are aware that you have two little eyes who are watching you. always. and so you act accordingly.
I really love seeing the person that you've morphed into over the last 9 years. I think if when we met, we could have looked into our future and seen us now, we would've laughed and probably never believed it!
I love how you take care of our family. How you get up {really, really early} every day and go to work so I can stay home with our son. I am thankful that you want me to stay home and that, that is something you value.
I love how handy you are around the house. How you take pride in your work and pride in the home that you have provided for us. I think it's funny that you still get shocked when things turn out good, one day {soon, I hope} you will have the confidence in your skills that I have for you. Don't you know by now, that everything you do turns out wonderful! I love how it is important to you to finish jobs that you start-so Preston will have this quality also, and that you think about those kinds of things.
I love how you spend so much time with Preston, thinking about his needs before your own, and therefore you spend a lot of time just sitting in your truck, just because preston likes to sit in there. I could go on and on about the kind of guy you are...how blessed preston and I are to have you and love you.
So.
Happy Fathers Day Dave! We love you!
Ness and Preston
