I can't believe that it is June already! It sort of makes me feel nervous because I really don't want this summer to fly by, summer always seems to go too fast. I am also nervous because I've procrastinated long enough with training for the triathlon and I really need to get my caboose in gear! Like, immediately!
The deck is pretty much done-and we use it all the time! I will post some pictures soon-We (meaning Dave, I don't know why I even say we?) just need to build the stairs and stain it. It has really transformed our backyard and preston and the cats just love it:) Now on to other projects! I foresee many busy weekends coming our way!
Amidst all this busyness I really want to take time to play and start family traditions. One of our traditions is going up to Kelowna BC to Daves familys lake cabin. I have a love-hate relationship with the cabin, but I guess it leans a little more towards love and we always have a good time. I
want to do some camping this summer too-or even day trips. I just want to get out and enjoy the beautiful northwest.
Preston turned 17 months yesterday. He is just such a joy! He just keeps getting better and better. I can't believe how much he is talking and repeating words we say. He sings twinkle twinkle little star and it is just so cute! He is very into tools and "helping" Dave with jobs around the house. Dave has a little sidekick! It's really cute.
