It's Friday already? Where did the week go? Where did the month of October go-it is almost at an end! Soon it will be Christmas. My oh my. With each day time seems to be traveling faster and faster. It just really makes me want to slow down and savor special moments. If I am not careful, I will have just let them pass by without even noticing. And that would be tragic.

Life has been pretty uneventful around here. Just the ususal going ons. Preston has a new favorite word. It is "NO!"  He is...how shall I put it, so teachable;) and that is exactly what we are trying to do, teach and train. We've been having to give more "reminders" {I don't dare to say the real thing lest someone call CPS on me*wink!} lately. I finally understand why my parents would say, "This hurts me more than it hurts you."   I hate it-but am amazed at its effectiveness! I pray that my little Preston will have a teachable heart. I just love him to pieces!

On a different note, Dave has gone from dada to mamadada. Not sure where that came from??? Dave is always saying, "It's just dada, not mamadada." It makes me smile:)

I am getting ready to do another craft show-November 14th, in Liberty Lake again. More info to come:)

I know this post is kind of scattered....here and there. But, I try to document our lives so we can look back. And well, our lives are kind of boring-I apologize that it's not an interesting read. :) Just know that I did refrain from talking about washing dishes and scrubbing toilets.

  1. no need to apologize ~ "no news is good news" ... better than having something tragic going on. :)

i know what you mean about time flying by. my baby boy turns 10 today and i'm a wreck!! i can still vividly picture him at Preston's age ... so sweet, yet so challenging.

Love him to pieces (i know you do) because all too soon he'll be a "big" boy and 10!!! :)

  2. I like these posts. The ones that really show daily life, not just the big vacations or super outings, you know what I mean? I like to hear the normal little details, not a lot of people seem willing to report them, I suppose they think they're too boring too, but really looking back, these are the kind of little moments I know I'm going to reflect back on with fondest memory. :)
