Multitude Monday

Last week when I was reading over at a Holy Experience there was a quote that really impacted me, it said,

"Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby."
~Ruth E. Renkel

That quote changed my perspective today. Instead of seeing the glass as half empty I am beginning to {slowly} see it as also half full. Could it be that my heart it changing-that God is changing the way I see things? That in the mix of sadness, hardship, bad days, sad news that I am looking, searching for God in the midst of it all. I think so. It makes me smile.

129. I am thankful to see how God will work in our lives. To anticipate how He will be glorified through our family and through circumstances.

Because if times are tough, and you know God, get ready. Anticipate how He will work in your life. I am sure it won't be in anyway that you would expect. It never is. God, my God has His own timetable and His own plans and they are never the same as mine! It's taken many trying circumstances to realize that God does not need my help or insight!

the list continues...

130. I am also thankful for reuniting with an old friend, a very good friend! You can read all about how we reunited {thanks to technology!} here. You can also see me with a mullet, that is just a bonus for ya'll! I was just thinking how great it feels to have a friend that has known me for so long-it's kind of a neat feeling!

131. Time alone to craft, without little helping hands! Thanks Dave!

132. Second, third, fourth chances.....I am surrounded by grace.

133. Thoughtful Jack...who is always thinking of others and made Prestons day!

134. Cards in the mail. Thanks Angela P-It made my day! Really.

Lord, with all my heart I thank you. I will sing your praises before the armies of angels...Your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. When I pray, you answer me and encourage me by giving me the strength I need...The Lord will work out His plans for my life-for your loving kindness, Lord, continues forever.

Psalm 138:1-3

And yes, what an inspiring list, I'm honored to be part of it. :)
And I was thinking the same thing, how fun it is to have a friend that I've known for so long. And even more fun is how seeing you I see the same old Ness I remember from childhood, just even better now. :)
