an update.

Hello all-is everyone ready for Christmas? I can't believe it is just a few days away-I am really excited for Christmas this year. For some reason it just seems less stressful then last year. This year we get to spend Christmas morning alone-we usually celebrate Christmas day with my parents and sisters {and their families}-but this year we are celebrating on the 26th leaving us to ourselves on Christmas day. I can't wait to see how Preston reacts-I think he will really be into opening presents this year! I am thinking of making a special breakfast-any ideas?

Saturday-we had the McCoul family Christmas get together at my mom and dads house. It is always so great to see everyone! And the food...my goodness, there was tons of it and it was delicious! Preston was the only kid there-since the Weavers were MIA with the flu. He was quite the hoot if I do say so myself. I think he rather liked being the center of attention! We always do a gift exchange-I am happy to say I ended up with a gift card to Red Lobster-so I am looking forward to a date night real soon;)

Potty training-is going awesome! Preston wore only 1 diaper yesterday and stayed dry at naptime. My sister Amy said that after his hard delivery, hospital stay in the NICU, and asthma I deserve a break;) I'll take it. We even went on an outing yesterday in unda-roos with success. I am just hoping that we can keep this thing going! We went to babies r us and bought the cutest, littlest tiny elmo underwear-it's just about the cutest little underwear I've ever seen!

  2. I think your idea of a special breakfast sounds fun! The Christmas morning tradition in our house is Aaron's famous cinnamon rolls. Maybe I'll have to add some scrambled eggs and ham or star shaped pancakes this year...

Hey Preston, do you want to come over and teach Deacon a thing or two? ;)

  3. What ever you do, save a pair of those cute little undies for his keepsake box. I kept a pair for all of my kids and when I look at them I am so amazed at how little they are.
