I don’t know about you, but every year around this time I dream of summer. I long for flip-flops, tank tops, and capris. I long for BBQ dinners, and sun, and heat, and warmth. I long for the warm rays of the sun to touch my skin. I long for walks, playing at the park, and swimming. I long for planting seeds, watching them sprout and having vegetables in our garden, I even long for weeding. I long for beautiful, colorful flowers. I long for warm mornings where I can have coffee on our deck, and read. I long for evenings under the stars.
I know I must patiently wait. There is an order to things. Winter, Spring then Summer. I am thankful for days like today, sunny, beautiful days! It may not be warm but we can still play outside and enjoy the beauty of the sun!
