The weather finally warmed up enough for the strawberries to ripen! We took advantage of this and headed out to Knapps bright and early on Wednesday morning.  I was surprised at how many other people had the same idea!  Preston wasn't that much of a help picking, but he had lots of fun eating and hanging out with the cousins.

I ended up picking about 23 pounds-we froze some whole and made lots of strawberry freezer jam. That night for dinner we had pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream-delicious! Preston kept asking why we were having dessert for dinner.

I'm not sure why I put Preston in a white shirt-you can't see them all but he had quite a few strawberry stains:)
