The Fruit of the Spirit.

We have been teaching Preston what the fruit of the spirit is.
Love, joy,  peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. {we will particularly be spending a fair amount of time on self-control when we get to it. *wink, wink.}

Last week, we worked on the first three...love, joy and peace.  After we talked about what each one means I asked him some questions. Here is my little interview.

Me: Preston, how can we show daddy we love him?
P: By obeying him, giving him flowers and jewels, and hugs and kisses.

Me: How can mommy and daddy show you {preston} that we love you?
P:Give me candy and jewels, push me on the swing, go on walks to starbucks.

Me: How can we show Grace we love her?
P: Don't hit her, don't play fight with her and don't bite her.

Me: What are some things that bring you joy?
P: the black beast {our cat, don't ask!}mobius {the childrens museum} my cousins, jumping castles, jump n bounce, building a fire in the fire pit with daddy, and playing on the swing out front that daddy built.

Me: What are some peaceful things?
P: Not fighting, eating popcorn, reading books.

....to be continued
