{Four years and two months.}

Preston,

You are a wild, passionate, spirited, crazy, loving, young man.

I wonder what God has in store for your life? 

You have so much energy in your little body that I just look at you in wonder.

I feel like the last 6 months have been such a journey. There have been a lot of hard times as we've tried to figure you out!  But in the end I have discovered that you are just you! You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are perfect just how God made you. Quirkiness and all.

You have so many questions about life and the world that you live in. Some of them I can answer and some I cannot. 

Yesterday you kept telling me that God is mighty to save, later that night I figured out that you were talking about that song "Mighty to Save" that you heard on Pandora--for some reason that chorus stuck in your little head all day long and you kept telling me, "honey, God is mighty to save!"  So while we were snuggling on the couch we watched that video on you tube. You were so excited that I figured out what your were talking about!  The video was of a live performance by Hillsong and you were in awe at all of the people at the concert singing and worshipping Jesus. You said, "Wow, look at all those people who love Jesus!" You kept my phone with you all night and listened to that song on repeat. This morning when I peeked at you, it was still playing. The thing that you said that will always stick with me is how you said, "honey, this song just makes my heart feel so good!"

it is the moments like these that I live for.
