the best nesst

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to blog. I will let go unattended for a long time,  then the kids do something cute and I think, sheesh, I really need to be documenting these things! I have a ton on pictures that I need/want to upload but I will have to do a post just with pictures because I never have them off my camera when I sit down to write.

I'll start with Grace. She is talking soooo much these days.  Somewhere she transformed from my baby to a little girl. One thing about her personality that has surprised me is that she is a little shy. At the end of the day sometimes Dave and I laugh at how rambunctious she is. (we're not necessarily laughing during the day) She is a tornado, a destroyer, a climber, a screamer, a kind of kid who puts everything in her mouth, nose and ears. She is busy to say the least! But, she is such a joy at the same time. Lately if you ask her what is in her mouth or what she is doing she will look at you and say in a high pitched voice, "nut-ting." Which is never true;)

I know that Preston has a ton of Preston-isms...I just haven't been very good at keeping track of them. I will have to think about them and come back. I know you enjoy reading them and I like to be able to remember them.

What else has been going on......Dave is still laid off but should be back to work in a few weeks.  Walker has some jobs coming up! Woo-hoo! It's been fun having him home but he's ready to go back to work! He finished re-modeling the bathroom and is currently working on finishing a room in the basement for the kids. We want to all be on the same floor. It's not a big room and will mainly be just for sleeping. Graces room (the biggest room upstairs) will be turned into a playroom and I'm not sure what we will do with Prestons room, probably store my stuff for the store???

Speaking of the store it's been going fabulous! It's so fun, I think we all enjoy it so much! I'm really excited that garage sale season is starting up! I went to my first garage sale last Thursday and got some fun items for the store. It was soooo cold. We've been having  typical Spokane spring. We'll have sun, snow, wind and hail all in the same day. We get outside whenever the sun pops up.

Well I guess that's all for the moment. I have a sink full of dishes just calling my name! :)
