I just found out that the month of October is pregnancy/infant loss month.



My heart goes out to all of the families who have experienced this-who have little babies in heaven. This is an area in my life that I never thought I would have to experience. Again, and again and again. I am so thankful for my relationship with Jesus to get me through those rough times. For His comfort and hope and healing.

Although, that I hate that other women have gone through this, I am glad that I am not alone.


While we are on this topic. I got my labs back and I am "normal." Which is good, but also frustrating. I was hoping to have a reason. Something tangible to wrap my brain around. Something to fix. Blahh.

All in a week.

I am glad that it is Wednesday...the week is halfway over. It's kind of been one of those overwhelming weeks, a lot going on.

I woke Sunday morning to the news that a 19 year old girl was raped by a man impersonating a police officer just down the street at our park. Very unsettling!

Yesterday our dog ran away. Twice. {don't worry Carrie, he's home now.}

I found out I have a food intolerance that is causing my immune system to go haywire and cause all of my arthritis problems.{More about this later} I will have to change my whole diet! Which is exciting but scary and overwhelming.

Last week I got 17 tubes of blood drawn at one time. I know that's a pretty random piece of information, but that's a lot-I think maybe it's some kind of record??

Those 17 tubes of blood will hopefully tell my doctor why I've been having miscarriages. I am trying to wait as patiently as I can!

I found a bakery that LOVES my cupcake holders and wants to buy them! I have a meeting with them next Tuesday:)

I also have a meeting with a few other local stores to see if they are interested in carrying some of my product-exciting!

And last but not least....

Dave got laid off on Monday.

They called him on Tuesday and said never mind, come back to work tomorrow.

So, I know that this is a really random post. But this is what's been going on the past couple of weeks. What have you been up to???
