I have been busy, busy, busy getting ready for the Funky Junk show. I am a bit of a procrastinator! Ok, a big procrastinator. But it has been a very productive week! I've been cutting, laminating, coloring, cleaning and organizing......It also helps that I've been taking Prednisone, it's a steroid medicine and it gives me A LOT of energy and makes me efficient at everything I do! Side effects other than efficiency are scrubbing the floors by hand at 1 am, cleaning the kitchen at warp speed, and not being able to sleep. But I like to focus on the positives. I think that if I could take Prednisone and have a Starbucks every day I could possible rule the world, possibly. ;) Anyways.

Valentines day is just around the corner...here are some quotes about love i found while "surfing the web" (do people still say that?) which one do you like? i can't wait  to find some time to work on some cards, but time seems like it is kind of hard to find these days! We don't usually go all out for Valentines day at our house {or any holiday for that matter} but that is something that i really want to change. i want to get more into the spirit of celebrating, do a craft or two, make some cookies... preston would really enjoy that!even though valentines day might seem like a "hallmark holiday" i think it will be a perfect opportunity to talk to preston about love. Valentines day doesn't necessarily have to be for couples either. you can put a spin on it and make it about Jesus' love and His ultimate sacrifice of love for us! so don't forget to send cards to singles that you know, your friends, neighbors....
