Who doesn't need encouragement on a Monday morning? I know I do. It is the beginning of a new week. A chance to do the things I didn't get to the week before. A new start. This week I am determined to be home more, to be diligent in household chores, and intentional with the time I spend with my husband and son.
The bible verse that comes to mind today is Psalm 118:24
This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.
My goal is not to complain about the laundry piling up, or how dirty the floors get when I just washed them and dread thinking about what I am going to make for dinner. But to rejoice and be glad and have a positive attitude!
