Today after church we headed out to greenbluff for the last day of the peach festival.
Here is a snippet of Preston picking peaches {for the very first time} at Hidden acres He kept calling the peaches balls. I wonder what was going through his head as he saw tree after tree with balls on them:) I can't wait to make some peach freezer jam and peach syrup!
We went for peaches but almost came home with a kitten-the owners of the farm recently found a litter-they were sooo cute! We are definitely not a 3 cat home though;)
Does anyone have any recipes with peaches that they'd like to share????
I do have a yummy peach pie recipe but I have been sworn to secrecy (literally). My mom made me swear I would never give it away ... so that doesn't help you in the slightest, but I can always try to make one and give it to you (keyword there is try ... I've never actually made it)! :)

Dang, if I'd have known you guys were heading out there last weekend I'd have joined you, we just went on Sat. the 5th. There weren't too many peaches left, we really had to hunt. I asked Aaron if we could go to Hidden Acres, but he wanted to do Walter's. Now I wish I would have seen your post before we went, I would have made him go to HA, my kids would have LOVED to see the baby kittens! Maybe we'll have to go there soon to pick apples just so we can see them... :) Great pictures, I love Greenbluff.
