This is a hard post to write, but I suppose it needs to be written. I just found out that we "lost" the baby at my doctors appointment this morning. I kind of had my suspicions yesterday...things were kind of off. {I hate the term "lost the baby" don't you, I really didn't lose it-it makes me feel like a bad mom, like I misplaced it...argghh.} anyways...I/We are Ok. Really. We have not lost hope-we serve a loving God and totally trust in His timing-He knows who our family will be and we trust Him completely. Although we are sad for this loss, we know these things happen for a reason-usually the baby isn't healthy, and the goal of any pregnancy is to have a healthy baby. Although, we would absolutely love any baby that God would give us-healthy or not. I guess I am just feeling frustrated, that this happened again. I really thought that we wouldn't have anything to worry about after having a healthy pregnancy with Preston. {In case you didn't know, I miscarried once before, a couple of months before I got pregnant with Preston.}

Anyways...

I would appreciate your prayers-last time I miscarried I got really sick! I think it will be a hard week health wise.

  2. Oh Ness, I'm so sorry...
    My heart aches with you and you will most definitely be in my prayers.
    I probably already told you this, I had 3 miscarriages throughout my pregnancies. I know how heart-wrenching it can be, how attached a mom can feel to each tiny baby the second she realizes she is expecting...
    I hope that physically you recover quickly, and emotionally you feel the comfort and peace of God's love. Hugs.

  3. Steph-
    I did not know that-thanks for sharing!

    Sometimes it seems as if getting pregnant (and staying pregnant) should be so easy and natural. It's nice to know I am not alone or that nothing is wrong with me!

    Thanks!
